Wholetones is also for Pets!?!
Introducing Brucie, the coolest dog I have ever met. I have enjoyed hanging out and getting to know him this past month while I have been staying here in the lovely summery London, UK.
Brucie has a firecracker personality. He is so playful, fun and also so affectionate and thoughtful. Having (unfortunately) never owned a dog (yet) myself, he has definitely sold me on becoming a dog owner one day.
I had read numerous testimonies about the affect the Wholetones music has on pets. People consistently sharing about how it seems to send animals into a peaceful trance! Now I can safely say that…I get it! I have seen it, by how it affected Brucie this evening.
It had been a while since I played Wholetones, which made it all the more luxurious to put it on this afternoon and listen to it as I was chilling out and sorting out a few things in my suitcase. It wasn’t long before Brucie bounded up the stairs to say hello.
A while later I found myself having one of those very conscious so-happy-right-now! moments as Paul, Brucie and I played crazily, running around with a little stuffed-toy spider I found for him in my suitcase.
Another golden Wholetones moment. I have had many shining and beautiful times when Wholetones is on. I talked about the ‘playful’ effect of the music in my last review – yes the Wholetones melodies really do lighten the atmosphere, make me feel relaxed and at peace, so childlike and kind of just excited to be alive.
The most incredible thing I want to share though, was a bit later on. I noticed Brucie was acting kind of regal or solemn, unusual.
I actually said to Paul “It looks like he is praying!”
As I have been writing this, I have been aware that it does sound a bit ‘out there’ so I guess it is one of those things that you have to see personally.
One thing is for sure though, Wholetones and the power and beauty it holds, is just as potent, healing and moving for animals.
It is such a wonderful mystery to think upon, that all of God’s creatures are so effortlessly in tune with their Creator. I feel inspired and led to go deeper. Just the look on Brucie’s calm and reverent face made me sense the greatness of our God in that moment.
It reminded me of the verses “For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.” Colossians 1:6
Psalm 148 commands “Wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds, kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth, young men and maidens, old men and children. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens” (vv. 10-13).
Thanks a bunch and enjoy Wholetones! Rachel Bananas
